Cherry Tree Centre adopts Amy

The Cherry Tree Centre has adopted the Amy and Friends Cockayne society as their chosen charity. This charity was set up in Wallasey by Jayne Hughes, Amy’s Mum. Amy has Cockayne syndrome and visits the centre all the time. Her Mum works tirelessly with a group of volunteers and specialists from Boston Memorial Hospital in America to promote the charity and they are working towards setting up a Centre of excellence for the treatment and awareness of Cockayne syndrome as at the moment this is not available on the N.H.S. We are very proud that Amy has allowed us to be one of her sponsors and we will be working and supporting Amy And Friends in the future .

Currently we are working on a promotional day in the centre to celebrate our union and raise awareness of the Amy and Friends Society…………….Watch this space for more details.
